Normal Residential Purposes was an apartment gallery in Minneapolis’s Seward neighborhood. The name came from the terms of use in our lease: Residents may use the Apartment and utilities for normal residential purposes only. With this project, we asserted artistic experimentation and community gathering as ordinary acts of occupancy.
